Since 2000, I’ve been designing unique pieces reflecting the styles and vibes of San Francisco. I grew up with a strong curiosity about the world of design, and began crafting stylish clothing and jewelry samples at a young age. I love working with other local vendors in order to create collaborative pieces that not only inspire, but empower those who see the world through seasonally-colored glasses.
Fashion designers have to be aware of the fashion market requirements. They have to be very interested in learning new things and read magazines, journals and books on fashion design history . A designer should also have some knowledge and experience of tailoring (cutting, draping, sewing etc.) and be able to tell the difference between different fabric quality levels.
